Brown and white water marbling nail art

brown and white water marbling

Nail polishes used

wild and mild, golden rose, wild and crazy

Let's begin!!!

1. Apply a base coat and then one or two coats of white nail polish and let it dry completely.
2. Take a glass(plastic/paper) of water and allow it to come to room temperature.
3. Cover the skin around your nails with scotch tape as you don't want your fingers to get  messy. Instead of using tape, you can apply Vaseline to the skin around your nail.
4. Now you are ready to do water marbling.
5. First add one drop of white nail polish into the glass of water and let it spread.
6. Then add one drop of brown nail polish in the middle of the glass let it spread.
7. Again add white polish and then brown polish alternatively so that you use at least 4 drops of each polish.
8. Now using a toothpick, make a design as you wish by gently dragging the layer of the nail polish into the middle of the glass.
9. When you are satisfied with the design, carefully dip your finger with the nail facing down into the water containing the layer of nail polish.
10. Keep the finger dipped for at least 10 seconds and using the tooth pick remove excess nail polish from the top of the water.
11. Carefully take out the finger and follow the steps from 5 to 11 for each nail.
12. Now remove the scotch tape and if there is any excess nail polish on the skin, use a Q tip or cotton bud dipped in nail polish remover to clean it.
13. Finally add a top coat and you are done!!!!

Note: For better results use new polishes for water marbling as they will easily spread in the water. If you have an old nail polish which is a bit thick and is not spreading in the water, try adding few drops of nail polish remover to the nail polish to make it thin.
Make sure that the water is at the room temperature. If it is hot or cold you cannot work with it.
